My mom and two brothers still live in Texas. My sister lives in Hawaii. Follow this link for more about my family Education
Those early years were at Katherine Smith Elementary in Houston. I graduated from G.C. Scarborough Jr.-Sr. High School in 1978. Next I received a B.B.A. in Accounting at Texas A&M University in 1982. In 1989 I completed my M.B.A. in Information Systems at Georgia State University. CareerImmediately after graduation, I moved to Honolulu, Hawaii to work with local CPA firm. After nearly two years to get certified (CPA that is) I moved to Washington, D.C. to work for EDS (back when Ross Perot was in command). This move put me into the world of computers, programming, tech stuff... After a few years of traveling the country with EDS and moved on to MCI in Arlington, Virginia. After a small stint with MCI, I decided Atlanta, Georgia was the place to be. That was 1986. I moved to Atlanta to work for another software company called American Software. With them, I spent most of my time in Europe working on various localization issues so the software would handle commerce between countries that belonged to the European Economic Community (EEC). As opportunities arose, I moved on to Marcam Solutions and now I work for PeopleSoft.
