Mozart Concert Dinner

Wedding Day - 26 September 2000 - Tuesday

We arose and met everyone in the lobby to enjoy a dinner theater concert at the Stiftskeller St. Peter.  The night was glorious, the music joyful, and the dinner superb.  We had front row seats to view a combination of Mozart’s music and operas.  Andy, to keep with our own traditions, brought in a bottle of Lilliano Chianti Classico to adorn our meal.

After the concert, we strolled along many of the old historic buildings.  At night the exteriors were almost more impressive than daylight hours.  We walked past St. Peter, the fortress, the fountain of Neptune, and stopped many times in sheer awe of the structures before us.  The buildings were lit against the star studded ebony sky.  The night was filled with beauty in music and mankind, while our hearts were filled with joy, love and the anticipation of our new lives together.

We retired for our last night of this trip back to the Gersberg Alm.  Back in the privacy of our room, we recounted the highlights of the day, and toasted to us – in private, just Andy & I.  We became one both mentally, physically and spiritually.  We both were so blissfully happy to have the other to spend the rest of our lives together.
